A multinational company is hiring a Plant Manager in Aswan (Male Only)
Job Description:
- Responsible for plant operation and maintenance. Establish the Company's policies and procedures
- Responsible for plant production goals, HSE, performance, availability and cost control
- Establish and maintain community relations and foster a well-trained and motivated staff environment
- Ensure implementation of established effective and economical operating methods and techniques and identify new technological changes in the field business which can be implemented to advance the operating methods and techniques
- Develop and ensure implementation of plans and procedures to achieve the optimum utilization and operating efficiency of Photovoltaic plant
- Ensure the implementation of HSE policy and procedures
- Control the operation and maintenance activities of the subcontractors
- Development and approval of the maintenance plan reflecting with O&M contract
- Ensure that adequate and trained personnel are available to effectively carry out plant activities
- Co-ordinate and control necessary relations with customers and Government officials necessary for the accomplishment of the function
- Reporting of the plant activities, incident reports with causes and remedy actions to the Customer, summary of daily log sheet, daily performance report, weekly status report, and monthly performance as well as operation activities with any recommendations of modification and annual report. Control and report of Key Performance Indicators
- Confirm and approve all purchase requisitions initiated by Section Heads before submission to procurement
- Control the owner warehouse, providing tracking of spare parts used, warranty claims and reposition of the used parts
- Periodic meetings with subcontractors and suppliers to stablish operating conditions, maintenance progress, problems and solution of operation and maintenance plans
- Ensure Environmental Aspect-Impact and Hazard Risk Assessment are carried out, controlled and updated
- Identify, establish and monitor IMS objectives, Targets and programs
- Provide necessary resources for effective implementation and sustenance of IMS and report IMS performance to the management periodically
- Ensure Legal compliance with respect to their scope of activities
- Ensure identification of root cause for the identified non conformances/ deviations and to implement corrective actions/Preventive actions
- Identify the competency gap for their subordinate personnel and implement necessary actions
- Carry out annual performance evaluation of reporting employees and facilitate adequate training for the personnel
- Facilitate the Emergency drills planned
- Provide adequate support to carry out the internal audits in the plant
- Ensure systematic closing of identified non conformances/deviation
- Necessary coordination with the external agencies/interested parties for environmental and safety related matters
- Ensure monitoring and control of contractors & subcontractors activities within the premises
- Receive security breaches and coordinate further actions
- EPC, O&M and PPA Contracts administration, preserving Economic Development Obligations, managing Inspections, Claims, Force Majeure and Dispute Resolution assistance
- Control Utilities (Fuel, electricity, water for cleaning) and Consumables
- Provide contractual support: PPA administration, applicable Grid Code, Transmission Agreement, etc. securing obligations with customers and their representatives
- Provide technical support and guidance for technical aspects related with the Photovoltaic Power Plant Electric Generation
- Write operation and maintenance instructions for the PV plant
Qualifications:
- Graduate Degree in Electric Engineering
- 8 Years in Operation and Maintenance
- 3 years of experience in Operation and Maintenance of PV plants as Plant Manager
- PV and HV Operation and Maintenance Experience
- Advance Writing and speaking English skills
- Awareness of Quality, Occupational Health & Safety and Environment Management system principles
- Knowledge of applicable legal requirements
- Hazard Risk assessment
- Leadership and communication skills
- Direction of PV plant Operations and advanced interpersonal and supervisory skills
