“Senior Database Administrator” is required for a Multinational Software service Company located in New Cairo
Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and upgrade database software to meet performance needs.
- Monitor and optimize database performance, addressing bottlenecks and implementing tuning strategies.
- Develop and manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery plans to ensure data integrity.
- Administer database security, user access, and compliance with data policies.
- Ensure data accuracy through validation procedures and adherence to standards.
- Conduct capacity planning to support scalability and future growth.
- Troubleshoot database issues, collaborating with IT teams for resolution.
- Maintain documentation of configurations, procedures, and system changes.
- Generate reports on database performance and usage for informed decision-making.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Database Administrator, with a focus on systems.
- Excellent Command of the English Language
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and experience with architecture and database management practices.
- Familiarity with database design, documentation standards, and coding best practices.
- Proven experience in backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes for large database environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address and resolve complex database issues.
