“Junior Data Testing ” is required for a multinational software developments company located in New Cairo
Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee the Data Quality Assurance testing lifecycle, including the development of test strategies, test plans, and test execution.
- Manage and mentor a team of testers, guiding them in test scenario design, execution, and defect resolution.
- Oversee Database/Data Warehouse/ETL testing, ensuring high data quality, consistency, and integrity across all systems.
- Drive test automation initiatives for data testing, leveraging tools and frameworks like Java, Python, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, data engineers, and business stakeholders, to align test coverage with project goals.
- Ensure proper documentation of all test cases, results, and defect tracking, maintaining clear communication with stakeholders.
- Take ownership of the Defect Management process, ensuring timely resolution and coordination with development teams.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in Data Quality Assurance with expertise in ETL and Data Warehouse Testing.
- Proficiency in advanced SQL scripting and data validation techniques.
- Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts, including Star Schema, multi-dimensional models, and slowly changing dimensions (SCD).
- Experience with Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipeline integration for continuous testing.
- Proven ability to design and implement test automation frameworks for backend systems.
- Experience with Defect Management processes using tools like JIRA, TFS, or ALM.
