"Tax Services Lead" is required for a Multinational Retail company Located in District 5.
Responsibilities:
- Review and ensure timely filing and payment of tax returns for corporate income tax, VAT, and WHT. Oversee deadlines and inform the group tax team of any delays or issues.
- Stay updated on tax regulations and legislative changes, informing the team and assisting with their implementation across affected systems.
- Support the regional tax team with tax-related queries, audits, and group-level tax filings. Assist with tax updates and training sessions.
- Implement systems to compile and monitor all relevant tax information and filings across jurisdictions.
- Prepare documents and reconciliations required for tax audits and filings at the group level.
- Develop and maintain productive relationships with stakeholders, foster business improvement and collaborating with auditors during financial and operational audits.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience.
- Excellent English is a must.
- Background in the retail industry is required.
