“Electrical Design Engineer” is required for an international structural engineering company located in New Cairo.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for implementations and monitoring of all electrical related works.
- Design high voltage equipment such as wiring systems, lighting systems, and generators.
- Survey the site and manage the design and construction of electrical systems so that they comply with the necessary codes.
- Designing, testing, installing, and maintaining large-scale electrical systems that transmit and generate power.
- Calculating the costs of projects and scheduling delivery dates for supplies.
- At the end of a project, He is responsible for ensuring that all codes are met.
- Facilitates as part of a team and provides technical advice within their area of expertise.
- Ability to read and study the electrical plans, implement them on the site, and sometimes do necessary actions to correct or improve the design.
- Coordinate with other electrical engineers to implement the electrical system design and with other engineers from different fields, such as civil and mechanical engineers, to make the construction job more manageable.
- Design of cables, lighting, devices and cable trays and Conduct System Testing.
- Shop drawing design and follow up with project.
- Project design, whether it is a light current / telephone / analog / camera, alarms / car garages.
- Supervision of projects under implementation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
- Professional Experience from 3-5 years.
- Experience in low voltage and low current operation at site.
- Thorough knowledge of building codes, and may be required to teach others how to detect building construction issues.
- Work with computer models to understand better what they should create.
- Make calculations of lighting intensity and frequencies
- Deluxe Evo / Excel / Etap / CAD programs.
