“Senior Project Manager” is required for a multinational engineering company located in Sheraton, Cairo.


Responsibilities:
  • QA on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with contract specifications.
  • Document and maintain all contract data, preparing required reports and updates for the Owner.
  • Track budget and schedule progress, advising the Owner on trends that may affect timely and cost-effective project completion. Provide monthly schedule updates and highlight any concerns to the project scheduler.
  • Ensure all contract documents and procedures are followed. Recommend improvements or new procedures when necessary.
  • Attend meetings to evaluate and control progress, quality, budget, and address action items.
  • Coordinate services from testing and inspection firms, ensuring compliance with agreements. Review and approve invoices, forwarding recommendations to the construction administrator for final approval.
  • Track allowance usage and reconcile monthly with the contractor's allowance log.
  • Oversee final inspections, certifications, and scheduling of occupancy. Ensure all operation and maintenance data, record drawings, and training materials are completed as required by contract.
  • Monitor compliance with contract documents and design directives, particularly in conjunction with the Inspector of Record (IOR). Review IOR’s daily and inspection reports to identify any issues that need attention.
Requirements:
  • University Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture.
  • A minimum of 10 years of construction experience in roles such as Project Manager, Construction Manager, or Construction Management Representative.
  • Healthcare or lab projects experience and in-depth knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems.
  • Experience with Design-Build (DB) projects and familiarity with the design approval process.
  • Strong background in Change Order Requests (CORs), managing project costs and budgets, and handling Requests for Information (RFIs), submittals, and field observation reports.
  • Proficiency in construction management software such as Procore or similar platforms to track construction progress, manage documentation, and communicate with project teams.
  • Strong understanding of Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling, including the ability to evaluate contractor-provided schedules, logic, and sequencing.
