“Senior Mechanical BIM Engineer” is required for a Multinational Engineering Consultancy located in Dokki, Giza.
Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed 3D BIM models for HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems using Revit and Navisworks.
- Prepare and manage accurate construction documents and drawings, ensuring they align with the latest project requirements.
- Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other disciplines to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems into the building design.
- Use Navisworks for clash detection and resolve conflicts between various building systems (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, etc.).
- Review BIM models for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
- Attend coordination meetings with multidisciplinary teams, present progress updates, and provide technical expertise as needed.
- Working Hours: 2:30 pm - 11:30 pm.
- Days Off: Saturday and Sunday.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum of 5-6 years of experience in BIM with a focus on mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection).
- Fluent in English is a must.
- Strong proficiency in Revit and Navisworks for creating and managing BIM models.
- Experience in performing clash detection and coordinating with other disciplines to resolve conflicts.
