“Planning Manager” is required in a Multinational Engineering Consultancy company located in Dokki.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of planners providing CPM scheduling services for construction projects in the US.
- Monitor productivity and improve the quality of outputs delivered by the team.
- Personally handle sensitive, high-profile, and complex projects requiring advanced expertise and precision.
- Develop and maintain project schedules using industry-standard software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project).
- Analyze schedules to identify critical paths, resource constraints, and potential conflicts.
- Provide regular updates and reports on project progress, highlighting deviations from plans.
- Identify risks and propose mitigation strategies to minimize delays.
- Engage with clients via virtual meetings and video conferences to address project needs.
- Communicate schedule-related information effectively to stakeholders at all levels.
- Participate in project meetings to provide insights and recommend adjustments to schedules.
- Working Hours: 2:30 pm - 11:30 pm.
- Days Off: Saturday and Sunday.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 7–10 years of experience in planning and scheduling, hands-on expertise in civil construction, particularly in planning and scheduling roles within consultancy or construction industries.
- Excellent Command of English – Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- AUC graduates are preferred.
- Proficient in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project for effective project scheduling and management.
- In-depth understanding and proven ability to manage and resolve construction claims.
- Documented track record of career success, supported by reliable references.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate with teams, clients, and stakeholders effectively.
