“Senior Import Operation “is required for a reputable Freight Forwarding & Logistics company located in Sheraton
Job Description:
- Responsible for negotiating competitive freight rates, building relationships with shipping lines and agents locally and internationally providing sales & overseas teams with monthly competitive pricing.
- Ensures continuous improvement in customer service always exceeding customer’s expectations and managing the implementation of necessary operational and customer service practices.
- Ensure that financial aspects (billing and invoicing) and reporting for freight are carried out according to company requirements.
- Lead and motivate the operation team and drive quality and performance.
- Meet or exceed established goals relative to on-time delivery and shipping accuracy performance for customer shipments.
Requirements:
- A related degree in logistics is preferred.
- 4-7 years of Experience in the same position or department.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English.
- Have a solid understanding of documentation principles and operations especially related to ocean B/Ls.
