“Social and Environment Specialist” is required for a Multinational Rail Transportation located in Heliopolis.
Job Description:
- We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Social and Environment Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the environmental and social aspects of our projects, ensuring compliance with regulations, and promoting sustainable practices. Your work will focus on integrating gender-sensitive and labor management approaches to mitigate differential impacts and promote equitable outcomes, in strict adherence with international standards and regulations such as those set by the World Bank.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Social Science, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Professional certification in environmental or social management is advantageous.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in environmental and social management, with specific experience in managing projects aligned with international standards and regulations.
- Deep understanding of environmental and social impact assessment methodologies, including gender and labor analysis.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data management and analysis tools.
