“Financial Manager” is required for a Multinational steel manufacturing located in Badr City.
Job Duties:
- Plan, implement, and oversee the overall accounting strategy of the company.
- Supervise daily accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, utilities, treasury, budgeting, cash forecasting, revenue and expenditure variance analysis, capital assets reconciliations, trust account statement reconciliations, check runs, fixed asset activity, debt activity, etc.
- Monitor and analyze accounting data to identify trends and potential areas for improvement.
- Establish and monitor accounting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Produce financial reports or statements on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
- Ensure compliance with proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.
- Encourage adherence to accounting standards among team members.
- Oversee and participate in annual audits, providing recommendations for improvement.
- Meet financial accounting objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
- Prepare and present KPIs to stakeholders, providing insights into the company's financial performance.
- Represent the company towards employees and external stakeholders as part of the management team.
- Coordinate with other members of the management team, reporting any issues or needs for arbitration to the General Manager.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA or CMA certification is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial management role within the industrial sector.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in financial software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven leadership and team management abilities.
