“Technical Sales Engineer” is required for an international Automation Machinery Manufacturing Company located in New Cairo.
Responsibilities
- Achieve sales targets within defined industrial sectors.
- Follow-up key market potentials and develop new business opportunities.
- Maintain excellent relationship with end-customers within specific sectors and be the 1st level contact person for support.
- Understand specific customer’s engineering and maintenance team’s needs, and support development of new systems/solutions.
- Organize trainings/orientation sessions to anchor customers about basic product knowledge, application knowledge, proper maintenance practices, new products, new solutions …etc.
- Maintain all end-customer accounts within area of responsibility, analyze purchases, evaluate business potential, buying behavior, conditions, and define strategies for sales and profit growth.
- Collaborate with sales manager to continuously improve sector/customer-based sales strategy based on actual sales, won/lost opportunities, competition situation, pricing scheme, type of application and/or project opportunity.
- Support sales team and marketing activities
- Cooperate with local distribution partners and system integrators within area of responsibility.
- Coordinate with local and overseas support teams and competence centers.
- Coordinate retrofit/upgrade projects as assigned and directed by direct manager.
Responsibilities:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
- 5-8 years professional experience within the heavy equipment sector, and preferably in related technical sales function.
- Strong Market knowledge within the heavy equipment sector in Egypt, e.g. construction machinery, bulk material handling, port cranes and marine equipment.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems and applications.
- Proven record of sales results, engagement with customers, generating new business opportunities, and handling technical and commercial topics.
- Previous experience with ERP and CRM systems.
- Proficiency of English language.
