“Purchasing Section Head” is required for a reputable Manufacturing company located in Maadi.
Responsibilities:
-Developing purchasing strategies that are inventive and cost-effective.
-Sourcing and engaging reliable suppliers and vendors.
-Preparing and reviewing contracts, invoicing, and negotiation terms.
-Obtain quotes on pricing for local & foreign materials used in production.
-Expedite purchasing of materials, equipment, and services when approved to meet production deadlines.
-Research for new products or vendors to reduce costs, and improve quality and delivery time.
-Purchase material and equipment from qualified vendors and prepare purchase orders or bid requests.
-Develop and implement purchasing and contract management instructions, policies, and procedures.
-Negotiating with suppliers and vendors to secure advantageous terms.
Requirements:
-bachelor’s degree in business administration or similar.
-3-6 years of experience in the same field.
-Previous record in purchasing.
-Excellent command of English.
-Advanced user of Microsoft Excel.
-Excellent Negotiation Skills.
