Job Description:
As a System Integration Engineer, you will play a crucial role in both; the building and running phases of our projects. You will be responsible for installing, configuring, and integrating solutions. Additionally, you will provide technical support for Cloud, On-Premises, and Hybrid services, ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of our systems.
Responsibilities:
Building Phase Project:
- Install and configure solutions on hardware or VMware platforms.
- Integrate solutions at customer sites or hosted environments, connecting with customer backend or core network elements.
- Write technical documentation, including customer acceptance plan documents.
- Assist the development and validation teams during projects.
- Provide progress updates to Validation Technical Leader and Project Manager.
- Execute acceptance test plans with customers.
- Create Operation and Maintenance Guides (OMG).
Running Phase Project:
- Provide technical support for Cloud, On-Premises, and Hybrid services.
- Design and implement changes to systems.
- Maintain and enhance internal tools for service industrialization.
- Offer technical guidance for new services and technical analysis.
- Optimize service reliability, performance, and security.
- Provide technical direction for high-risk changes.
- Contribute to the Tier II Support team's technical knowledge ramp-up.
- Participate in defining production requirements.
- Manage performance metrics and optimize processes.
- Participate in the 24/7 on-call rotation within the team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Telecom, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of similar position experience.
- Proficiency in shell scripting (bash), Python, or Perl for automation.
- Understanding of IPv4 protocol and packet routing.
- SQL querying, including joins and filtering.
- Knowledge of Apache and other web servers, virtual hosts, and basic proxy setup.
- Experience with SSL certificates and various authentication methods.
