A Multinational company located in Suez is hiring a Legal Officer position
Job Description:
- Advice and support on drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial and procurement contracts and other legal documents.
- Research, anticipate, and guard the company against legal risks.
- Monitoring local legislation and informing businesses about its implications
- Responsible for engaging and managingexternal legal counsels.
- Proactively identify and address legal issues in a pragmatic and risk-based fashion.
- Supporting claims team for handling any major litigation/ dispute in Egypt.
- Working effectively with other departments and functions such as Finance, Tax, Compliance, etc.
- Follows up on the changes in legislation and regulation related directly or indirectly to the company activity.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Law English Section
- Fluency in English is a must.
- Minimum 6 years of relevant legal experience Preferably in transportation, logistics, and terminals.
- Solid experience with general corporate, regulatory, and commercial legal issues.
- Experience with drafting and negotiating contracts.
- Ability to find solutions to complex issues.
