A Multinational Pharmaceutical Company located in New Cairo is hiring a General Accountant position
Job Description:
- Monitor and record financial transactions according to Group policies & procedures and applicable local regulations.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and other month-end reconciliations (i.e.: petty cash, travel expense reports, etc.)
- Record closing journal entries (i.e.: adjusting entries, reconciling accounts, etc.) at each period end and keep the supporting schedules updated.
- Record inter-company transactions and assist with reconciliation at period end (inter-company matrix and balances confirmation).
- Reconciliation of accounts payable/receivable (sub-ledgers) including aging balances analysis;
- Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
- Recommend financial actions by analyzing accounting options.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
- Fluent English is a must.
- 1-3 years’ accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of accounting procedures.
