Job Description:

A multinational railway infrastructure company in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Business Unit Manager to oversee and drive the commercial and operational aspects of their business.
The main objective of the role is to maximize in-year performance in terms of profit, cash flow, and safety targets while ensuring long-term success and development of the business and team. As a Business Unit Manager will be responsible for strategic leadership, decision-making, business development, commercial responsibilities, financial management, human resources, administrative and legal duties, compliance with anti-bribery regulations, and SHEQA (Safety, Health, Environment, Quality, and Assurance) responsibilities.


Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
• Proven experience as General Manager or similar managerial position in Railways or Construction Companies
• Operational and Commercial experience at the senior management level.
• Fluency in English is a Must, Arabic (Highly beneficial), French (Plus)
• In-depth understanding of the aggregates, asphalt, and contracting business.
• Good understanding of corporate finance and measures of performance.
• Good understanding of contractual issues and legal obligations and rights.
• Proven commercial expertise within the industry.
• Ideally post-graduate business qualification or further professional development.
• Strong intellect and drive.
• Strong team player/Personable – The ability to integrate with operational and finance teams is critical to achievingobjectives.
