A multinational Power Energy company located in Riyadh is hiring a Business Development Manager position
Job Description:
Understand the opportunities and apply them for the benefit of the bid competitiveness thoroughly.
Activities include business development-related review of RFQ, RFP risk matrix, dispatch analysis, etc.
AssistBD and PF as requested by the Project leader for business development-related activities. And assist inEPC structuring of PV/Wind projects on techno-commercial aspects.
Manage and motivate the team to ensure they contribute to, and participate in, the identification and implementation of change initiatives, programs, and projects in line with the organization’s standards.
Oversee the day-to-day work of the team by providing guidance, encouraging teamwork, and facilitating related professional work processes in order to achieve high-performance standards and ensure that employees’ activities are performed in a timely, efficient, and effective manner.
Support in the whole Bid process and the closing deal process
Act as an interface point between the technology function and other related organizations concerningbusiness development matters of the Bid in order to improve the Bid proposal.
Map risk & opportunity for each project accurately to understand the risk & opportunity profile and define proper risk mitigation with regardto commercial aspects by taking technical input from central technology.
Assist in performing due diligence on brownfield projects or assets acquisitions for business development activities.
Review and amend if required project documents taking input from central technology and other departments such as:
Implement approved departmental policies, processes, and procedures, and ensure employee adherence so that work is carried out to the required standard.
Contribute to, and participate in, the identification and implementation of change initiatives, programs, and projects in line with the organization’s standards.
Qualifications:
bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree will be considered a plus.
10-12 years’ intensive experience in the area of project development and contract negotiation for large EPC companiesin the field of PV/Wind projects.
Strong knowledge ofthe techno-commercial aspect of PV/Wind is a Must.
English Fluency is a Must.
Ability to conduct frequent travels.
Strong understanding of the EPC business and IPP business.
