An international company located in New Cairo is hiring a Tax Supervisor position
Job Description:
- Provide guidance in efficient tax planning for the company.
- Act as the internal tax counsel by advising the business lines on the impact of legislative changes, areas of non-compliance, and areas of potential savings periodically review the internal control processes to ensure that they meet tax legislation requirements.
- Guide management in the interpretation and implementation of changes in tax legislation.
- Provide direction for the implementation of such changes and ensure that appropriate attention is given to the MoC (Management of Change)
- Review all tax returns prepared by the tax analyst to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Review all tax-related accounts analysis as per the Accounting Management documents and ensure all corrected entries are processed duly.
- Review the tax calendar and checklist with the tax analyst monthly.
- Provide leadership in the timely and accurate preparation, and submission of all tax routes, with the relevant government authorities, including monthly local tax reports, VAT forms, annual income tax returns, withholding tax certificates, and installment taxes.
- Identify any other tax requirements with the dynamic changes in the tax environment and ensure timely and accurate returns are done.
Qualifications:
- BSC/BA in Accounting and Finance, Public Accounting, and other related fields
- Proven work experience of income tax experience in a multi-state large corporation
- Experience in Fund Accounting is an added advantage
- Excellent attitude, cooperative, and team player
- CPAs are strongly urged to apply
- Must be able to use MS Office suite
