A multinational company located Heliopolis is hiring an Equipment Engineer Manager position
Job Description:
- Directing, managing, and monitoring reliability programs for production equipment of MFG, and PKG in both semi-solids and solids and ensuring proper KPIs are used to evaluate performed activities.
- Lead reliability improvements to identify equipment obsolescence in advance to support planned replacement vs reactive replacement using existing & developing technologies.
- Identify & support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the Maintenance program in the short & medium term to maintain a reliable plant.
- Manage Equipment Periodic review to determine the validation status and the actions required to maintain the validated state of systems or equipment.
- Demonstrate knowledge in GMP, environmental, health, and safety procedures to assure regulatory, policies, and/or guidelines compliance.
- Assists withdeveloping, implementing, and maintaining the maintenance training program for equipment teams.
- Manage the maintenance budget in the production equipment area with respect to (variance, projections, risks, and mitigating strategies).
- The Equipment Engineering Manager provides System Matter Expert (SME) input and approvals on deviations, change control requests, standard operating procedure revisions, action notices, and other Quality systems.
- Delegate for equipment section head in case of absence
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering is a must.
- 5+ years’ experience within the pharmaceutical industry in a maintenance/engineering role.
- Experience in working in an environment governed by SOPs and cGMPs and the know–how to work and manage within a regulatory oversight.
- Experience in Maintenance practices such asplanning and scheduling, reliability-based maintenance, and spare parts inventory management area must.
- Excellent command of the English language. (Writing and speaking)
