An international company located in Sheraton is hiring a Senior Procurement Manager position
Job Description:
- Ensure to follow the Organization’s Global procurement policy.
- Liaising with Internal & external stakeholders to manage Real Estate Procurement in Egypt and NA.
- Budget Vs Spend Management.
- Provides advice and guidance to stakeholders on procurement matters, and coaches stakeholders on the relevant processes (i.e. Request for Proposals, Request for Quotations, bid evaluation criteria, and procurement tools) to ensure stakeholders' needs are met and Organization obtains the best value.
- Ensure procurement processes are perceived by suppliers as fair, open, and ethical.
- Analyzes procurement requirement and select the most appropriate methods based on the assessment of established policies, practices, and experience.
- Plans, organizes, and leads the bid solicitation process including drafting and issuing RFQ, RFP, and developing bid evaluation criteria.
- Chair bid evaluation committees, ensure the integrity of the competitive process, facilitates bidder debriefings, and exerciseappropriate judgment and tact while ensuring to protect of confidential information.
- As subject matter expert for the ERP purchasing module, provides technical advice and participates in the design, development, modification, testing, and implementation of selected Finance and Admin systems.
- Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
- Handling Internal and External Audits.
- Control spending and build a culture of long-term savings on procurement costs.
- Well verse with Procurement of goods and services (keeping in mind the ESG initiatives).
Qualifications:
- 7-10 years of proven working experience, currently working as a Procurement Manager.
- Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as a dexterity in “reading” the market.
- Proficiency in negotiations and networking.
- Good knowledge of supplier or third-party management tools. (i.e. SAP MM , SAP Ariba, SAP Oracle, RSA Archer).
- Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers.
- Experience in collecting and analyzing data.
