A reputable company located in Maadi is hiring a Planning Engineer Section Head position
Job Description:
- Update progress and production of variance reports as required, including critical path and earned value analysis and mitigation proposals.
- Ensure the development of the planning team and project team, including the supply chain, in the processes of planning.
- Presentation and negotiations of program entitlement for additional works where necessary.
- Appraisal and coordination of all subcontractors’ programs and feedback to them on changing main program information.
- Assist in the management of change in regardtoimpact on programs and progress.
- Prepare comprehensive site layoutsequences and prepare presentationsas necessary.
- Liaise with the client, designers, subcontractors, suppliers, and local authorities for all matters relating to planning.
- Knowledge/experience of heavy civils and/or large-scale complex heavily serviced building projects.
- Detailed knowledge of planning complex interfaces across multiple projects.
- Confident in facilitating workshops to develop detailed project plans and for progress monitoring/reporting,
- Experience in Earned Value Management techniques and reporting,
- Experience using Primavera P6 inc. totalcost and material loading.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- 7 to 10 years of experience.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Planning and project management skills.
- Strong multitasking abilities.
- Strong analytical, critical, and logical thinking skills.
- Ability to focus under pressure and meet deadlines.
