An international company located in Kuala Lumpur is hiring a General Manager
Job Description:
- Oversee a company’s operations, have budgeting responsibilities and are involved in hiring and evaluating company personnel.
- Guide & steer the strategic direction of the company. Responsible for overall financial structure.
- Achieve a record of sales, production and a net profit in line with business plan. Reviews operating results of the division, compares them to established objectives and ensures appropriate measures are taken to corrective measurements
- Advises, guides, directs and authorizes personnel to carry out major plans and procedures consistent with established policies and corporate approval.
- Directing and coordinating the promotion of products manufactured or services performed to develop new markets, increase market share and obtain competitive position in the industry.
- Perform direction of safety, quality and productivity in the division and recommends changes where desirable. Manage workplace inspections and monitors compliance with all Health and Safety. Establish safety goals and objectives; review of safety statistics and loss runs; lead formal management safety committee.
- Create and utilize metrics, dashboards and tools to support warehouse operations and administration in meeting and exceeding productivity, accuracy and service level goals
Qualifications:
- Must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Marketing or equivalent.
- At least 20 year(s) of working experience with minimum 5 year in similar capacity is required for this position with reputed medium to large scale organization/s.
- Full-Time position(s) available.

- Strong and tenacious communicators, able to sell ideas to management.
- Ability to establish priorities and Organizational skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Experience in statistical analysis
