A Multinational FMCG company located in Obour City is hiring a Sales Account Manager


Purpose of the Job:
Ensure the successful development of the compound business in North Africa and Middle East, as interface between the Sales Managers and New Product Developers. Support the team from raw material sourcing strategy, recipe management, NPD performance up to commercial development, with regular customer exposure.

Job Description:
  • Business Development: Support the business development activities in North Africa and Middle East
  • Steers business development by supporting customer visits and the follow up of briefs/projects
  • Manages successful project achievments by adequate screening of new projects and common visits to clients to understand and finalize the briefs
  • Advices and guides the sales teams with new concept proposals as well as customer and product targets
  • Product Development: Strengthen and develop the NPD capabilities in Egypt
  • Installs the required knowledge base in terms of NPD: team building and support in product design, sourcing strategies, pricing, etc. according to destination markets
  • Support ANF purchase team in the build-up of a local supplier base, to ensure the optimization of the raw material mix of recipes and their cost structure
  • Build a differentiation databank of suitable materials depending on customer and regional preferences
  • Makes sure NPD samples fit to client requirements and taste according to the brief, destination market or customer specifics
  • Sales Management: Manage an own portfolio of customers
  • Acquire and develop new accounts, to be fully managed from initiation to ongoing commercial management, for a territory/segment to be jointly defined

Qualifications:
  • Education/ Training: University degree in Food Science, Technology, or other applicable Technical Field, with strong communication skills
  • 1-3 years experience, linked to sales, product development , business development, operations in the beverage business
  • Beverage market and Customers insight in Middle East and Africa Region
  • Detailed understanding of food ingredients
  • Proven project management experience
  • Product Portfolio Management experience
  • Customer centric approach with knowhow about client specific and country specific preferences
  • Willingness to travel (Krollendorf, Vienna, Egypt, South Africa, Algeria, Middle East)
  • Excellent multicultural international capacities
  • Energetic and leadership
  • Fluency in English and Arabic is a must and French is a plus
