A multinational company located in Heliopolis is hiring a Financial Accountant


Job Description:
  • General Ledger Reconciliations
  • Maintain general ledger entries
  • Processing Inventory Stock adjustments
  • Petty Cash and Float management (count and sign off)
  • Monthly VAT Recon and VAT Submission to Authorities
  • Control of all lease agreements
  • Analysis of accounts
  • Fixed assets/Capex (processing & approvals)
  • Month-end procedures
  • Liaise with auditors at year-end
  • Purchase Orders/Sales Orders Maintenance
  • Preparation Monthly Financials
  • Expense Control
  • Budgeting and forecasting
  • Cash, Creditors and Debtors Management
  • Payroll Function with PAYE and other Statutory deductions processing and payments
  • Local Tax knowledge, WHT, Income Tax etc
  • Uploading payments to Banking platform
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor / Master degree ( or equivalent) in Accounting / Finance
  • At least 8 years of overall combined accounting and finance experience
  • Accounting ERP system experience - SAP, Syspro …etc
  • Microsoft Office programs experience essential
  • Proven work experience as a Financial Accountant or similar role
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software
  • In-depth understanding of business bookkeeping procedures
  • Solid knowledge of accounting regulations
  • Excellent math skills with an attention to detail
  • Time-management abilities
  • Confidentiality
  • BSc degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field
  • Additional certification (e.g. CPA) is a plus
